Bolens Snowblowers now MTD Snowblowers
MTD, or Modern Tool and Die, purchased Bolens and Troy Bilt from Garden Way in 2001. MTD has constantly expanded over the last several decades and have acquired many different smaller companies. Many of these companies made snowblowers of different sizes and qualities.
While Bolens snowblowers are no longer produced as new, many used Bolens snowblowers can still be purchased. Additionally, depending on the year of the model, MTD still has available replacement parts for some Bolens snowblowers. This means that your old Bolens snowblower isn't obsolete and you can still get it working in great condition again.
